About Belek

Belek is regarded as the centre of golf tourism in Türkiye, with many courses that host international tournaments. The golf season peaks in spring and autumn, while summer is mainly about family and beach holidays.

Its beaches are one of the important Mediterranean nesting sites of the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), so some stretches have rules on lighting and beach use on summer nights. Kadriye and Boğazkent, east of Belek, continue the same hotel strip.

Highlights in Belek

  1. Golf courses

Championship-standard courses sit close to the hotels, and many resorts offer golf packages.

  2. The Land of Legends

The theme and water park in Kadriye is the area's best-known attraction for families.

  3. Aspendos Theatre

One of the best-preserved Roman theatres, a short drive from Belek.

  4. Beaches and sea turtles

Long, wide beaches that are protected as loggerhead turtle nesting grounds in summer.

  5. Kadriye and Boğazkent

These neighbouring areas continue the Belek strip with more large beachfront resorts.
